I’ve created a new painting / modeling blog!
The idea came up last night for me to do painting tutorials and the like, and i was really jazzed about the idea. My hope is that by starting up a painting blog, it’ll be a little motivation to actually… you know… PAINT my models.
It’ll be original content, no reblogs unless they’re really super super cool or for inspiration. So for anyone who wants to follow my Warhammer miniatures and maybe learn a thing or two about how I paint them, follow sara-paints.tumblr.com!
So many Warhammer 40k blogs… can anyone suggest any good Warhammer Fantasy blogs? I like hobby, but I’d be interested in reading articles about list building / strategy as well.
thestonecuttersguild, I’m lookin’ at you here, buddy.
The Adherents of the Hammer, a Sisters of Sigmar Warband.
Bertha looks like a horse and my Matriach Berthilda a pig, but otherwise an acceptable paint job.
Mordheim battle-nuns. HELL yes.
Also from last week, I knocked out the upper levels of the Bitch and Stitch.
So here’s a question : Since spray paint immediately destroys foam, how do you paint these projects of yours?? It seems like a lot of work to get it all into the little cracks between cobblestone blocks… I’ve had problems with that in the past, on projects far smaller than this.
Here is the old limited edition version of Archaon the Everchosen on foot, painted for a friend. #Art #Painting #Warhammer #WarhammerFantasy #Fantasy #WHFB #Citadel #Gamesworkshop #GW #Minatures #Chaos #WarriorsofChaos #WoC #Archaon #Everchosen by john_wr http://gbp24.me/1kC9jiN

Always reblog the home team!
This is easily my favorite model that I’ve painted. That’s why I’m posting it again, though I only updated the boils/weapon.

Warriors of chaos. I’ve painted 5/12 warriors and when I’m done with them I am going to paint my 5 chaos knights :)
They are looking good, well done you :)
